Appointment Cancellation/No Show Protocol
We would like to thank you for being a patient in our office. We value all of our patients and strive to provide the best veterinary care possible. Please understand that when we schedule your appointment, we are reserving time for your particular needs. We kindly as that if you must change an appointment, please give us at least 24 hours’ notice. This courtesy makes it possible to give your reserved time to another patient that would benefit from treatment if needed. We know that your time is valuable. If you are unable to keep an appointment, call us as soon as you can so that another patient may be given your appointment time.
Missed Appointments (Non-Cancelled):
We understand that occasional missed appointments can occur for a variety of reasons. When you miss an appointment without cancelling, someone else who could have been seen in your place in delayed unnecessarily. We track missed non-cancelled appointments. A “No Show/Late Cancellation” is defined as missing an appointment without cancelling at least 24 hours before the scheduled time. There will be a fee for a missed or non-cancelled appointment.
- If the appointment that was missed or not cancelled within 24 hours notice was made for amedical reason, the fee will be the amount of the Exam that was to be done per pet scheduled.
- If the appointment that was missed or not cancelled within 24 hours notice that was made forGrooming will be $30 per pet scheduled.
- If the appointment that was missed or not cancelled within 24 hours was made for an anestheticprocedure, you will forfeit the $100 deposit per pet scheduled.
